According to data from the Traffic Directorate, Istanbul ranked first with 11,350 accidents among the provinces with the highest number of fatal accidents and injuries in the last 9 months, while Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Izmir, Mersin, Konya and Muğla. The fewest traffic accidents occurred in Hakkari, Tunceli, Bayburt and Ardahan.
