5 more health workers died due to Covid-19

The Turkish Medical Association (TTB) announced on its Twitter account that 5 members of healthcare personnel died in a week due to the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19).

In the TTB post, it was said: “The word is over. We have lost five more healthcare workers due to Covid-19 infection. We are literally fighting with heart and soul and …”

Those who lost their lives are the following: Nurse Şenay Şahin, Dr. Muhannad Mushavah, Ambulance Driver Hasan Aslan, Erzurum City Hospital Cleaning Worker Kerim Koçoğlu, Dr. Nowruz Erez.

Syrian doctor Muhannad Mushavah, who worked at the Immigrant Health Center in Şanlıurfa, died.

Hasan Aslan (42), an ambulance driver at Çankırı Provincial Health Directorate 112 Emergency Services, died at Ankara City Hospital, where he was treated for coronavirus. Aslan’s body was buried in the Çankırı Sarıbaba Family Cemetery.

Şenay Şahin, a nurse who worked at the Kayseri Develi Family Health Center, died of the coronavirus. In announcing the news, the Ankara Medical Chamber used the following statements:

” # We are dying Every day we receive news of the death of a health worker! Nurse Şenay Şahin, one of the employees at the Kayseri Develi Family Health Center, died of the coronavirus. We wish condolences to her family, loved ones and colleagues. We will not forget you! ”

Kerim Koçoğlu, one of the members of the cleaning staff at Erzurum City Hospital, died due to Covid-19.

Working at Etimesgut Şehit Sait Ertürk State Hospital, Iğdır, former provincial health director, Dr. Nevruz Erez also dies from coronavirus
