AFAD, Search and Rescue Gendarmerie (JAK), AKUT, and municipal teams arriving at reinforcements from the surrounding provinces are scanning stream beds at every inch. Diver teams are also dredging underwater, looking for traces of leaks in the stream beds.

MINISTERS OF THE REGION

Interior Minister Soylu and Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Karaismailoğlu, who continue to investigate the region, attended the Coordination and Evaluation Meeting held in the Giresun Governorate.

VISIT TO THE VILLAGE OF ÇALDAĞ

Ministers Soylu and Karaismailoğlu met with the relatives of Emine and Davut Akgün, who were lost in the floodwaters in the village of Çaldağ, and received information from AFAD officials on search and rescue efforts.

Soylu and Karaismailoğlu, who visited the AFAD Management Center here, examined the houses damaged and destroyed by the flood and listened to the demands of the village residents. The ministers then came to the Dereli district, examined the work done there, and received information from the authorities.
