The meeting of the Ordinary General Assembly was held yesterday in Borsa Istanbul. At the meeting, Korkmaz Enes Ergun was elected CEO following the resignation of Hakan Atilla.
Changes were also made to the administrative staff of Borsa İstanbul during the General Assembly. Victory Fund Assets, former director of Turkey Sonmez, removing management of the Istanbul Stock Exchange, which accounts for 10 percent of the stock exchange, bought instead the Qatar Investment Authority Ahmed Ali al-Hammadi was taken to Istanbul. 33 PERCENT OF TIME TO THE ‘RIGHT TO PEACE’
At the meeting held yesterday, the salaries to be paid to the president and members were redefined. With the proposal of Ahmet Ali al-Hammadi, who entered the administration, the attendance fee paid to the Chairman of the Board remained at TL 24 thousand, while the TL 18 thousand attendance fee received by members was increased by 33 percent to 24 thousand TL.
At the meeting held last year, the Board of Directors of Borsa İstanbul decided to pay 24 thousand TL per month to the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Erişah Arıcan. It was decided that the members of the board of directors, including the former general manager of Borsa İstanbul, Hakan Atilla, and the president of communication, Fahrettin Altun, will receive an attendance fee of 18 thousand TL.
IT WILL BE PAID IN FULL BY BORSA İSTANBUL
Decisions made at yesterday’s meeting are not limited to a 33 percent increase. The decision also grants rights such as the assignment of private vehicles, the opportunity to benefit from the rights of travel, travel, accommodation, per diem, representation subsidy and health benefits of the spouses, children and dependents of these people under the same conditions as Borsa İstanbul A.Ş. In the event that the President and the members of the Board of Directors file an income tax return for receiving wages from more than one employer, the additional tax will be paid by Borsa İstanbul A.Ş. and, in case of being a government employee, the entire calculated additional tax will be paid by Borsa İstanbul A.Ş.
