Three suspects, who took videos and shared them on social media while carrying drugs from Istanbul to Ankara, were arrested in a police operation.
Three suspects who brought a synthetic cannabinoid substance (bonzai) from Istanbul to Ankara by car took themselves and the drugs on the road with a mobile phone camera and shared them on their social media accounts.
The narcotics police, following the suspects’ accounts, carried out an operation at the entrance to Ankara.

In a search in the car, 1 kilo of bonzai was seized. A total of 9,450 TL were fined for violating the curfew of the 3 suspects who were transferred to court after their actions at the police station.
OPERATION BEFORE THE NEW YEAR IN BAŞKENT
On the other hand, teams from the Anti-Narcotics Crimes Branch increased their drug inspections before New Year’s Eve, following the instructions of Ankara Police Chief Servet Yılmaz.
In this context, 16 suspects were arrested during the inspections carried out yesterday throughout the province. Although 9 of the suspects were transferred to the court for drug trafficking, 7 were released after their trial.
The inspections seized 17.65 grams of heroin, 125 captagon, 818 ecstasy, 1 kilo of 5 grams of methamphetamine, 1 kilo of bonsai, 105 grams of opium gum, 3 precision scales and 6 thousand 870 TL, which were evaluated as obtained from drug trafficking.
