The price of diesel increased by 33 cents a liter. The increase in question will be reflected in the pump prices of 28 cents at midnight.
According to the information received by the AA correspondent of the Union of Employers of Power, Oil and Gas Supply Stations (EPGİS), after the increase in prices of diesel and gasoline, the Eşel Mobil System, where the rise in prices was met fiscal adjustments, it was commissioned for the second time this year.
Consequently, 28 cents of the 33 cents increase in the price of diesel will be reflected at the pump, while the remaining 5 cents will be covered by taxes.
The price of diesel sold at an average of 6.34 lira in Ankara will be 6.62 lira per liter. The liter of diesel will increase from 6.31 lira to 6.59 lira in Istanbul and from 6.40 lira to 6.68 lira in Izmir.
Fuel prices, variations in the dollar exchange rate with the average price of processed products in Mediterranean markets, including Turkey, where the refinery is calculated on the basis.
As a result of this calculation, the prices applied by distribution companies may vary slightly according to companies and cities due to their competition and freedom.
