Tua Tagovailoa buys home near dolphin facility

After the Miami Dolphins selected Tua Tagovailoa with the fifth pick in the NFL Draft on April 23, the former Alabama quarterback signed a four-year, $ 30.275 million contract that included a team option for a fifth season and a $ 19.6 million drawing bonus.

Following the purchase of a Cadillac Escalade for his mother, Tagovailoa has brought something for himself with his NFL bonanza. Tagovailoa paid $ 1.65 million for a house on the lakefront in Davie, Florida, reports realdeal.com, which covers news about real estate in South Florida.

The 5249-square-foot, multi-level home features six bedrooms, four and a half baths, three-car garage and 0.8-acre pool. The house is about a 10 to 15 minute commute to Baptist Health Training Facility, the Dolphins’ headquarters.

Fitzpatrick started 13 games for the Dolphins in 2019, and he is preparing for his 16th NFL season.

The 10th player to pick up the 2018 NFL Draft, Rosen began playing the third, fourth and fifth games for Miami in 2019. The Dolphins got Rosen for two draft picks of 2020 after he started 13 games for the Arizona Cardinals as a rookie.

In his most recent game, Tagovailoa suffered a dislocated hip and posterior wall fracture on Nov. 16 in an SEC game against Mississippi State.
