In one of the morning’s several tweets aimed at individual critics, Trump based on Miles Taylor, who appeared in an ad for the group of Republican voters against Trump and penned an op-ed in The Washington Post , although the president did not deny any of Taylor’s claims.

Taylor worked at DHS from 2017 to 2019. He spent part of that time as Chief of Staff to former Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen

Taylor supported the White House bid in an ad that appeared Monday, claiming that Trump was trying to “exploit the Homeland Security department for his own political purposes and burn his own agenda.”
