The actor was pronounced dead on the scene after paramedics found him insensitive in his bed on Saturday, TMZ reports.
Charlie’s mother said the death was unexpected since her son did not show any illness.

She remembers that the last words she spoke to him were about how happy she was to have her teenage children.
The cause of Charlie’s death is still pending, the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office told Page Six.
MTV fans can better remember Charlie from the 2002 True Life docuseries episode, Getting Getting Married, who saw him enraged by his limo driver, who was late picking him up for his wedding.

“In defense of myself, I really did what any Staten Islander would have done in that situation,” he added.
