Tristan Thompson has shared a sweet birthday tribute to his ex Khloe Kardashian.
The 29-year-old NBA star took to Instagram on Saturday to post a message in honor of his ex-girlfriend’s 36th birthday. On the honest note, Tristan, who shares a 2-year-old daughter. True with Khloe, it erupted over her ex, calling her a “beautiful and loving woman.”

Along with a cute gesture from himself, Khloe and True on a trampoline, Tristan started: “Now I am wise enough to know that you came into my life to show me what it means to be an amazing person.”
“I appreciate how I can learn and grow because of you,” he continued.
“I thank God for the beautiful and loving woman you are to everyone, especially our daughter True,” Tristan concluded. “You deserve the world Koko! It’s true and I love you mom. Happy birthday @khloekardashian ❤️”
Khloe and other members of the Kar-Jenner clan commented on Tristan’s post.
“Awww, this is sweet! Thanks TT 🙏🏽🙏🏽” Khloe wrote.
Kim Kardashian called Tristan’s Instagram, “So beyond sweet ✨”, while Rob Kardashian added, “💙💙” Khloe’s BFF, Malika Haqq, also commented with emojis, writing, “❤️💯”

Tristan’s post for Khloe comes just over a month later “Keeping up with the Kardashians” EP Farnaz Farjam confirmed that the former couple has been isolating itself in the midst of coronavirus pandemic.
Although Tristan and Khloe separated in February 2019 after the former allegedly cheated on the latter with Kylie Jenner’s ex-BFF, Jordyn Woods, the exes have been working together to parent their daughter.
“Tristan definitely stepped forward and helped Khloe a lot with True,” Farjam said of the couple. “He’s showing a more mature side of himself. I think a lot more [highly] from him now. It’s not that I didn’t like it before, I just like it much, much more. “
On the other hand, during an episode of “KUWTK” last season, Khloe opened up to mom Kris Jenner about some of the struggles he faces as he tries to co-parent with Tristan.

“For parents it’s a different beast, it’s probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to solve,” he said. “You become territorial, like, ‘This is my baby, why are you telling me what to do?’ You forget he’s our baby. “
In a confessional, he explained that with Tristan returning to Cleveland for training, they have to figure out what the visiting hours will be like for their daughter, now that Khloe won’t be going back and forth as she did when they were together.
“He really misses True and doesn’t know when he will see her next time, and I really haven’t given much thought to how True will visit Tristan in Cleveland,” he admitted. “I’ve just been avoiding having this conversation.”
“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” returns in September.
