Tove Lo marries Charlie Twaddle while giving fans a glimpse of her wedding dress

Singer Tove Lo married her boyfriend Charlie Twaddle.

The 32-year-old Swedish singer-songwriter gave fans a glimpse of her wedding dress as she posted a photo of herself and Charlie in her Instagram Stories on Saturday.

True to her quirky style, the 32-year-old simply captioned the post ‘Wow!’ as they both showed off their wedding rings from the ceremony.

Grammy-nominated Tove, best known for her successful Habits around the world in 2014, looked stunning and elegant in her lace-up wedding dress.

The news of the ceremony coincided with the groom’s birthday, as Tove published another series of photos saying: ‘Happy birthday to the love of my life ❤️ @seetwaddle’.

In an interview with Metro last year, the pop star spoke about their relationship, saying they weren’t quite ready to get hooked.

She said, “I think I have found the person, and he is the same age as me, but I feel like we are children, so we just can’t.”

‘LA is where I met my boyfriend, even though he is from New Zealand. He is creative but not a musician and with his work he can travel with me, ” he added.

“The first year we were together, he was touring like crazy but, every time he had free time, he would fly back to Los Angeles to see it, no matter where he was.”

‘I’d make up excuses and tell him I had another reason to come back so I wouldn’t push him!’

However, it now appears that Tove had a radical change of heart this year.

Last year, she called him ‘my person’ in a social media post about him.

“No one makes me laugh more than you do and I feel so lucky to be able to create with you and see the world together,” she wrote.

‘I love your huge head and your big smile, and you are the most generous and loving human (with a touch of weirdness that matches my spark of madness). You’re my person. Jag älskar dig Charlie I hope you have the best birthday! … although I’m sitting next to you waiting for a delayed flight lol ❤️.
