The year will probably witness a new era in gaming. With so many titles released, you know things are going to take a sharp turn in the world of gaming.

Cyberpunk 2077

If you are talking about the best upcoming games of the year, then Cyberpunk 2077 should top your list. The open-world RPG is a landmark in gaming that brings many new dimensions to the gaming world.

Cyberpunk 2077 takes place in a fictional city in California. Players take on the role of V, a victim who goes against the likes of warlords and criminals. Furthermore, Keanu Reeves is part of the game, what more could one want?

The game is also a fresh take on RPGs. It has a whole new mechanic and gameplay features that set it apart from other AAA titles.

The game, developed and published by CD Project, the makers of Witcher 3, will make its way to gamers in November 2020. It will be available next year on PS4, Xbox One, PC and the next-gen console.

Assassin’s Creed Vallhalla

Ubisoft’s great game is also one of the most anticipated of the year. Assassin’s Creed series is one with a major following. The Assassin’s saga across many continents and parts of history has captivated players. This time they will investigate the story of the Vikings.

The game is an alternative take on the Viking invasion of Britain. Players master Eivor, a Viking Raider who is more than meets the eye.

The game will be released on November 17, 2020, for PC, PS4, Stadiums, and Xbox One. Ubisoft will also launch the game for next gen once they drop.

Halo infinite

Halo Infinite is the next major installation in the Halo series by 343 Industries. The Microsoft exclusive had a lot of hype around it. The sixth in the series follows the story of Master Chief against returning and new enemies in a world that is pretty much equal to the fans. Halo Infinite is scheduled to launch alongside the Xbox Series X, Microsoft’s next-gen console.

The gameplay reveal of the game has gotten a bit backwards for its graphics and gameplay, but that does not seem to stop the game.

Watch Dogs: Legion

The third installment of the famous Watch Dogs series; a world of hackers and more. Watch Dogs: Legion takes place in a futuristic London that is corrupt and is run by a private military company and a criminal organization.

The biggest highlight of the game is its feature to make everyone a playable character. Yes, that’s right, you could recruit anyone to your legion, and fight the war against evil.

Marvel’s Avengers

Well, who’s not a fan of Avengers? Fans will receive a treat in the form of the new Marvel’s Avengers game. The action adventure of Crystal Dynamics and Eidos and published by Square Enix includes some of the most favorite Superheroes as playable characters.

The game also has an online cooperative and follows a story after the alleged death of Captain America. The Marvel Avenger gameplay trailer showed a lot of potential and fans are hyped. The game will release on September 4, 2020, for Stadiums, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
