Tom Brady conforms to Buccaneers as Buccaneers conforms to Brady

The Buccaneers have a new quarterback, and quarterback Tom Brady has a new team. Both will have to adapt. Buccaneers receiver Scotty Miller says the adjustments have, to date, been mutual.

“I think it’s been a bit of both, honestly,” Miller told JoeBucsFan.com about the extent to which Brady is adjusting to the Buccaneers ‘offense and the Buccaneers’ offense is adapting to Brady.

“Tom has obviously run like any offense you can run, he executes every play you can run in his 20 [years] in the league, “Miller said.” So Tom will do a great job coming in and learning. It won’t be a problem for him. And then Tom has little things that he likes. So I think it will be a healthy mix of both. With Tom’s knowledge and the knowledge of our coaching staff, we will put ourselves in an excellent position to succeed. ”

Miller addressed the question of whether Brady is trying to adapt any of his new receivers to the roles played by some of his former teammates.

“Not too much,” said Miller. “Many guys compare me to [Julian] Edelman [Wes] Welker, all those kinds of guys. But I’m a little different than that kind of boy. Those guys play more in the slot; I play a little more outside. So I definitely want to play like those guys, but also give it a little twist. I am my own player, you know. I am a different type of boy. He hasn’t really said anything specific like that. You know, he’s just giving me advice about my game and I’m going to try to learn from it. “

After 20 years playing as a quarterback at a high level, Brady has many things to teach. The process is accelerated every time the training ground is opened.
