It’s a new week, and that means Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the Battle Royale Warzone game are being updated with new playlists, store packs, XP events, and more. Activision posted the details on its website, and we are summarizing the key information here.
Call of Duty: Warzone
Juggernaut Royale Quads mode returns to the mix this week. As in the past, Juggernaut’s suit will fall on the Warzone map and players will reject it to claim he gains the advantage. Activision said it recommends using LMG and launchers to fight the Juggernaut.
Warzone also welcomes you to Blood Money Trios mode this week, along with regular playlists that keep rotating: Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Modern Warfare is getting a couple of new multiplayer playlists this week, including Deathmatch Domination and Drop Zone. Deathmatch Domination is a team deathmatch mixed with a goal-based twist, so you must capture and maintain locations and get kills to earn points.
Drop Zone mode, meanwhile, is a deathmatch-style mode where killstreaks are only available if playing is the goal.
Also, the popular Shoot House and Shipment maps are getting their own dedicated playlists 24/7 this week.
New packages
Activision also offers new microtransaction packages this week, the first of which is “Zane: Golden Idol”. This pack includes various gold colored cosmetic items (there are 10 total) for Zane Operator. The package also includes two legendary planes: the King’s Highway assault rifle and the High Plains Drifter pistol.
Another package is called Spectrum, and it comes with the Ghostly Recoolction weapon blueprint and the Interstellar Dreams calling card. Also includes the animated Worlds Apart emblem.
Double XP
Modern Warfare and Warzone will offer double XP, double XP weapon and double Battle Pass XP this week. This double XP event begins on July 31 at 10 AM PT and runs through August 3 at the same time.
