There may be a brave newcomer in the transmission block (and another coming soon), but let’s not forget the older video streaming platforms that paved the way for competitors like HBO Max and Peacock and Quibi, platforms like Amazon Prime, which also has some new updates this month. Those new things include Dave Bautista’s My spy (a movie that no one forgot, and technically it will arrive in June), the second season of Amazon’s television adaptation of Hanna, a new season of FBI drama Absenceand Marie Curie’s biopic Radioactive (starring Rosamund Pike). There is also a new special Jim Gaffigan stand-up called The pale tourist, which apparently means a return to the central themes of previous stand-up specials Beyond the limits and Vladimir Nabokov’s Pale fire.
Leaving Amazon originals aside, Prime members can catch Big fish, Hitch, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, Quick pineapple, Megamindand Jesse Eisenberg / Imogen Poots’ suburban nightmare Nursery.
