GTA San Andreas it’s a great game, but it’s also pretty dated at the moment. And unfortunately, Rockstar Games doesn’t seem to have any interest in bringing it to modernity. Fortunately, some fans are doing exactly that. More specifically, three fans are in the process of bringing the game to Unreal Engine 4, and they recently shared a teaser, which has already garnered over a million views, highlighting the work they’ve done so far.
As you can see in the teaser below, there are certain elements of the game that still look dated, and this is because the project is using all the original assets, but there are other elements that make the game look a lot more like a PS5. or Xbox Series X game than a title that was released in 2004.
The project comes through Santiago Ibarra, Fabian Álvarez and Juan David Góngora, who have been working on the project in some way since last year. According to the trio, the project is far from over, but as you can see, the three of them have already done a good job of improving the game’s visuals.
Yes there is one Gta game that I’d like to see remade is probably GTA San Andreas, and this is not only because it is my favorite installment in the series, but because I could really use a new version. If you have recently played the game, you will understand that it does not work very well and that some elements do not look very good either. However, more than Vice city and GTA III, the foundation for it to become a modern open world game is already there.
