The actress, 39, was previously married to journalist Martyn Eaden from 2005 to 2013, then dated cameraman Josh Stancil before falling in love with Hal.

The star told Busy Tonight in 2018 that she had once been involved in online dating, but one plea met after she got a glimpse of the man she was dating and decided to go against.

She said, ‘I’m not ghosted, there was a gentleman a year ago, when it was not even cool to talk about meeting online. Like, you do not mention it. And I did not … I did not, until now.

‘And this man and I agreed to meet, and I think we exchanged one or two photos. And we’re like, “OK, we meet at this bar, right now.”

‘And so literally I park my car, and I walk, he walks, we see each other and we are like … neeee [veer off].

‘We did not have to waste time, you know, we’d already unpacked it. We knew. Energetically, it was not good for me. ‘

And despite the years that have passed since her marriage ended, Chrissy is still on good terms with her ex-husband.

She once said, ‘I used to be married to a great man, we are still friends, but it’s not something … I want to find out what’s going on.

‘This should be about me and I can obviously have a healthy relationship – but I’m in no hurry to get married.’
