Carnival Corporation plans to pedal 18 sea liners in its next months, Carnival Corp CEO Arnold Donald confirmed to the SEC in a preliminary filing on Tuesday.
“We continue to take aggressive action to ensure that a weaker and more efficient company emerges,” Donald said in a statement. “We are accelerating the entry of 18 less efficient vessels from our fleet. This will result in a 12% reduction in the infrastructural infrastructure in the capacity to retain the highest cash product assets in our portfolio and build structurally lower costs based on that. “
