The Oregon doctor’s license was revoked for refusing to wear a mask during the epidemic

Reg Regon, a doctor who refused to wear a face mask despite an ongoing coronavirus epidemic, was denied a medical license, denying Covid-19 as a “common cold.”

Ven November, Steven L. Tlipp made these remarks during a “Stop the Steel” rally in support of President Donald Trump outside the State Capitol in Salem.

“I want to expose what is known as Corona Mania,” Latulip said in a video posted on YouTube by the political group Multnomah County Republicans.

Less than a month later, in T December, records online records show that the Reg Reagan Medical Board issued an emergency suspension after learning that Latulip was “engaged in unprofessional behavior or dishonest behavior.”

According to the emergency suspension, in July Latulipe allegedly told a patient who asked for guidance on when to test for coronavirus that asymptomatic people should not be tested and that wearing a mask does not prevent transmission. According to State Board documents, Latulip instructed the patient not to self-isolate because they are immune to Covid-19 because they are around other people.

The medical board also found that Latulippa and his staff refused to wear masks at the clinic and urged patients to remove their masks. Medical board investigators who visited Latulipp said there were no screening procedures upon entering the campus and no hand sanitizer was available in the waiting area.

As a result of these findings, the medical board ruled that Latulip “creates an immediate crisis for the public, and poses a serious threat to public health and safety.”

The suspension prevents Latulipen, licensed in 2000, from practicing drugs anywhere in O Reagan.

In an earlier interview with NBC, Latulipe said he believes “bad science” provides guidance on wearing a face mask when in contact with people outside one’s home.

“I have absolutely zero problems with infectivity, and I have a completely successful treatment, so I ask, ‘What’s the problem?’ Why would I be haunted if I knew what I was doing? ”He said.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend wearing a mask to reduce transmission of the virus. The November 20 report cites seven studies conducted in various settings that “confirmed the benefits of universal masking in community-level analysis.”

The physician declined to cover the face, while Latulip said earlier that he had asked patients who believed they had Covid-19 or showed signs of the virus to wear.

He said he established a protocol to see those patients at the end of the day after they went to their patients and treated them in the back room disinfected before and after their visit.

“I am very interested in sound medical practice, and I am interested in good science,” he said. “And when science and medicine are distorted by corrupt politics, I am ready to fight, and that’s what forced me to go to that rally and say what I said.”
