Nissan has a transformation plan for sustainable growth and profitability by the end of 2023. The new Nissan Ariya crossover electric vehicle is part of that plan, and the technology of the infotainment hub is ready for the modern driver.

Technology
The 100% electric Ariya has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This means that iPhone and Android users alike can stream music and podcasts, messages and phone calls, and navigate from the smartphone to the car’s entertainment system without connecting a cable.
How about charging your phone? You can always charge by cable if you want, but Nissan also includes a Qi wireless charging surface on the Ariya EV.
Ariya features two massive 12.3-inch side-by-side displays: one for an instrument panel and the other for Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto.
Beyond the leaf
Does anyone remember Steve Jobs promoting the Nissan Leaf EV when Apple’s iAds platform debuted? Over 475,000 sheet sales later, Nissan’s vision for the next decade is Ariya.
The EV design, which Nissan describes as “Timeless Japanese Futurism,” calls for a concept car that the company unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2019.

Ariya also features a display screen that projects “similar information found on the meter screen” without being distracted from the road, according to the automaker.
Nissan will also support over-the-air software updates for the first time in its vehicles with “Remote Software Update” support from the electric vehicle crossover.
