The new iPad Air could be cheaper but more capable than its predecessor.

DigiTimes has reported that Apple is accelerating its supply chain to produce new MacBooks with ARM and new tablets. The company reportedly expects sales in both product categories to increase this year compared to 2019.

The new iPad Air, with a 10.8 “display this time around, is said to be embracing the iPhone SE strategy, which combines an affordable price with a powerful chipset. Possibly the Apple A13, the chip at the heart of the iPhone SE $ 400 (2020), although there are some conflicting reports on this.

The iPad Air (2019) uses the A12 chipset and starts at $ 500 for the 64GB model. Vanilla’s iPad 10.2 has an old A10 chipset and currently costs $ 330. So the 2020 Air’s price should be somewhere in between those two.

Much has been said about the new Air. You may be the first non-professional to abandon the Lightning port and adopt USB-C instead. Another Pro feature connected to the new model is the possibility of supporting the Magic Keyboard.

If you are looking for a new iPad mini, it will come next year, says Kuo. Interestingly, it also reports that iPads will be bundled with 20W chargers, unlike iPhones that will soon come without a charger.

As for Apple laptops, 13-inch models of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, both powered by Apple chipset technology, are reportedly being developed, to be released later this year.
