The New Horizon Halloween update is now live

As before Animal Crossing: New Horizons Updates, the 1.5.0 update has been released early on the Nintendo Switch. The update was to be released tomorrow, but Animal Crossing fans will now have the opportunity to take part in some of the game’s fun activities! As previously announced, the update will allow players to grow their own pumpkins, revisit dreams and prepare costumes for Halloween. Halloween Night will also allow players to give candy to their fellow villagers, and a little fun will receive a limited time prize. It should be the perfect addition for those who want to celebrate Halloween season!

So excited about this update! Growing pumpkins is a new addition to the series, and will allow players to create some new-diy recipes, especially for the season. The Halloween event will start at 5pm on October 31st, so players will have some time to prepare their decorations and their costumes!

Today’s update will also give players the option to return to Dream Islands. Dream Islands is a recent addition to the game, allowing players to visit another player’s island creation without having a real impact on the island. For those who want to show off their islands without worrying about crushing other players ’flowers or swiping all the fruit, it’s an exciting option. Now, players will have a list of Dream Islands they have visited in the past, allowing them to easily return and take another look.

Following this update, another major update will be released in November. Like the 1.5.0 update, the next one will focus on the next major holidays: Christmas and Thanksgiving. As of this writing, Nintendo has not revealed more information about what fans can expect, but it looks like both Franklin Turkey and Jingle Reindeer will reappear.
