The Las Vegas slots player wins the 15.5M jackpot on Christmas Eve


It’s a holiday miracle for a man who spent Christmas Eve at a Las Vegas casino.

The Suncoast Hotel and Casino reported that a man named Kevin won about .5 15.5 million from his slot machine on Thursday night.

“Megabooks Jackpot Alert!” Suncoast Casino tweeted with a photo of its hidden winner. “Congratulations to Kevin for hitting the 15,491,103 megabox progressive jackpot at કાSuncastCasino!”

According to a news shared with Fox News, Kevin won the jackpot from an international game technology megabox slot machine around 12:30 pm on Thursday, reportedly putting just $ 40 into the machine before his commemorative win.

The biggest slot machine Nevada saw in eight years was the jackpot, according to Bycod Gaming, owner of Suncoast Casino.

“It was definitely Christmas Eve to remember,” a Byrd Gaming spokesman told Fox News. “We are excited and honored to be able to take part in this historic holiday jackpot at Suncoast.”

Kevin, whose identity was protected for security reasons, said he shares his time between Las Vegas and Alaska.

He told Byrd Gaming that he intends to use his winnings to support his business and “pay it forward.”

Social media users on Facebook have congratulated and wished Kevin well.

“Congratulations !!!!! I can’t even win $ 100 and I’m there every week,” one user wrote with a smiling emoji.

“Wow,” said the other man, “Merry Christmas to you.”

According to the records of International Game Technol .G, a world record slot machine jackpots was built in 2003 at the X Exc Libur Hotel & Casino owned by MGM Resorts in Las Vegas. The 25-year-old Los Angeles man is said to have won .7 39.7 million.

Three years ago, an anonymous woman won 34.9 million in the currently closed Desert Inn Resort.
