The identity of a Canadian billionaire, a man interested in his wife’s murder

Canadian authorities have identified a man interested in the murder of billionaire pharmaceutical magnet Mary Barry Sherman and his wife Honey – almost three years after they strangled a couple in a Toronto mansion.

Toronto Police Constable Jenniferjit Sidhu said Wednesday that the man involved in the murder had been identified but had not been arrested, according to the Toronto Star.

Barry Sherman, who works at generic drugmaker Apotex Inc. And established Honey, they were found hanging from a belt from the railing around their indoor pool – in a semi-seated position on the pool deck, said the outlet.

Canadian officials originally believed the death was a homicide, but private investigators conducted by the Sherman family concluded it was a double murder.

In 2018 the family set its own tip line and offered a reward of over 5 7.5 million for information on arrests and convictions.

Sherman, 75, was estimated to have cost about 4 4 billion when he died, but faced financial difficulties in his final years.

He was known to be exceptionally legal in the country and was involved in more than 150 lawsuits at the time of his death.

But the couple was also known for their generous philanthropy, and their deaths sent shockwaves through Canadian high society and the country’s Jewish community, according to the Star.

They had named buildings in their honor, and donated millions of dollars to charities, hospitals, and schools.

The pair hosted Liberal Party fundraiser Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in 2015, the report said.
