The first home on the moon could be yours for M 60M: study



The first home on the moon, an alternative to saving life’s ambitious space on dense Earth, could cost 60 million compared to the rest of the world, according to a new study.

That’s a monthly payment of about 3 20,320,000 a month for 1,356 square feet of interior space, so if you want to grow up, stay home.

The study, conducted by UK finance site Money.co.uk, estimates what it will cost to bring materials, equipment and labor to the moon to start work using SpaceX’s blastoff weight pricing. It is also a factor in the cost of new technology that architecture on the moon will need life support and other factors.

This will include low gravity conditions, airtight seals and facing “meteor proof windows”.

The authors cited more than 27% in traditional asset markups to reach their projected averages.

Prices per plant were calculated on the basis of the lunar registry, a wing of the Luna Society, which intends to sell land on the moon. (Buyers on CD-ROM are promised a full moon atlas.) Although construction costs are astronomical, lunar land dirt is cheaper.

The 34-panel solar energy setup will cost about 23 23,000, while a more luxurious nuclear reactor will cost more than 1 1 billion.

On the bright side, a single nuclear reactor powered by the moon’s abundant stores of helium-3 would eventually lead to low-cost lunar energy emissions, according to Reactor Dinan, CEO of Pulsar Fusion, which manufactures the components of the reactor.

Once the first building is out of the way, with equipment and crew instead, the cost of subsequent houses will be lower – as much as $ 51 million each, the study authors estimated.

Homes will be equipped to grow food and replenish water in the water space to save on transport costs – therefore, it is possible that once the moon is structured, costs will be even lower.

Eventually, lunar mining and space junk recycling will also increase the readily available resources, the authors predict.

While the first lunar settlement may be too far away, let alone the first commercial housing construction, the second company is working on launching its luxury space hotel by 2027.

Orbital Assembly Corp. hopes to start booking rooms at its planned Voyager station, which says it will hold 400 guests at a time and will include artificial gravity. It will also not be cheap, with estimates that recreational astronauts will need assets of around million 50 million.
