Amazon has already been updated “The boys” for a third season before the second season itself premieres, and we learned that today Jensen Ackles has joined the cast of season 3.
The “Supernatural” and My Bloody Valentine 3D actor will play Soldier Boy in the upcoming third season, a character from the comics that seduce Captain America.
Soldier Boy is a World War II veteran known as ‘the original superhero’.
Season 2, meanwhile, premieres on September 4th.

His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a new Supe on social media, which has its own agenda.
