The veteran, who served in the military for nine years and toured Iraq and Afghanistan twice, reportedly had no pre-existing health conditions.

Her tragic death came after she repeatedly claimed the virus was just “hype” and said she refused to wear a face mask, reports 19 News.

On April 28, he posted on Facebook: “Let’s be clear: I’m not buying a crappy mask.

“I’ve come this far by not buying that damn exaggeration.”

And on May 12, he wrote: “I got tired of turning on my TV with ads for political defamation and shit about Covid.

So yesterday I delivered my cable box.

“I have also started sleeping people here. It’s time to block negativity. “

This Covid s *** sucks! I’m so breathless just sitting here. “

But on July 1 Rose posted to reveal that she had suddenly started to feel bad.

He wrote: “I have been very ill the past few days. Covid-19 symptoms.

“This morning they finally cleaned me up. I must know soon what the results are.

“I just want to feel good again!”

Later that day, he revealed that he had tested positive for the mistake, before posting the next day: “This Covid s *** sucks! I’m so breathless just sitting here.

Rose died two days later.

His friend Nick Conley said: “We were impressed, you know? You hear about this virus and you don’t expect it to affect people, younger people like us. “

He said that social media trolls were now tearing up his recently deceased friend, but urged them to show some “compassion” for their family.

Conley said: “Rick is being killed online right now for his decision not to wear a mask and that’s not right.

“We should still be compassionate whether we agree with someone’s beliefs or not.

“Someone passed away and we should have a little compassion for that.”

Wearing facial masks has become a controversial topic in the US, and some refuse to follow official health advice and wear one.

Donald Trump was recently photographed wearing a mask for the first time after previously saying he would not wear one.

And protesters have taken to the streets of cities across the country demanding that the lockdown be lifted and criticizing social distancing regulations as an attack on freedom.
