The 2020 ARIA Awards will be held this November, in the COVIDsafe format.
The Australian Australian recording industry’s main awards ceremony will take place on November 25 at its regular venue in Sydney’s Star Event Center, with no spectators.
As it enters its 34th year, ARIO will be “virtual, but real,” said ARI CEO Dan Rose. Billboard. “There will be an ARI platform with real people on it.” The star “There just won’t be a live audience.”

“It’s an industry that has been challenged, and through all of that we’re delivering great music,” Rosen notes.
In the second break of the general program, the Fine Arts and Craftsman ARI Award will be awarded in the same way as the ARI Awards.
Nominations for the main event will be announced next month. It is not clear which great act or artist will be inducted into the ARI Halifa Fame, although Rose confirmed that a special ceremony will take place.
As previously reported, ARI has partnered with the NSW government to “expand” the event through live music. The Great Southern Nights campaign will roll out 1000 CovidSafe jigs at Sydney and regional NSW in the weeks leading up to the annual gala.
