Announcement from the Meteorological Department “Tropical Storm” Zodel (Storm Level 3) No. 1 dated October 21, 2020

At 1:00 am today (October 21, 2020), Tropical Storm “Sodel” (Category 3 storm) over the Pacific Ocean. It has moved through the Philippines to the center of the South Sea. Centered at 16.8 degrees north latitude, 119.7 degrees east longitude, with the highest wind speed near the center, around 65 kilometers per hour. It is moving west, slightly north at a speed of about 30 kilometers per hour. It is expected to move near the coast of upper Vietnam on October 24-25, 2020, after which it will rapidly weaken.
