Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur
Stadium: Emirates Stadium
Referee: Michael Oliver
At home, Arsenal were taken early by Eric Lamela, but they were decisive in turning around to successfully overcome the goals from Odegard and the penalty from La Casette.
The house started with an immediate attack on José Mourinho’s players, with the early game dominating 80% of the ball.
In the 16th minute, Arsenal had several chances before they really had a chance with Smith Rowe’s shot off the crossbar.
In the 27th minute, Smith Rowe drifted away from Hojburg and slid him into the center for Lacazette to fire off the frame.
In the 33rd minute 0-1, after barely hitting the attack, the Spurs went ahead of Lamela, who came down to replace Son with a shot from Rabona, which was his first shot in the game.
In the 38th minute, Arsenal had a chance to shoot far from outside the area, with Cedric hitting the post hard.
Tottenham players have started to defend themselves, hoping that Arsenal’s offense will return to action.
In the 43rd minute, Odekard leveled for the team to succeed Kieran Tierney, who carried away Doherty before taking center stage. The Norwegian playmaker rebounded 1-1.
At the end of the first 45 minutes, although the score is tied, Miguel Arteta’s playing figure appears to be considerably superior, and the two Spurs full-backs seem to frequently show errors.
Arsenal stayed as hot as the first half and continued to find opportunities to reach Tottenham.
In the 64th minute, La Casette finished off a penalty, leading the team to come back 2-1 due to a lack of Davincon Sánchez.
After being overtaken, Mourinho seemed to have instructed the team to change their way of playing and start moving more aggressively.
In the 82nd minute, Ken tackled Moura’s first goal in goal before being caught offside.
Time is up “North London is red” but still in 10th place as before, and Spurs are seventh, six points behind Chelsea.
