The Dow Jones closed positive / oil moved slightly / gold fell strongly.

Dow shares closed up 131.06, oil prices rose 3 cents, while gold fell $ 16.4.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 27,665.64 points, was up 131.06 points or + 0.48%, the S&P 500 closed at 3,340.97, was up 1.78 points or + 0.05%, and the NASDAQ closed at 10,853.55 points, down 66.05 or -0.60%

The New York Dow Jones Stock Exchange closed marginally on September 11, driven by gains in industrial and financial stocks.

West Texas Crude Contract Side Inter Medium OR Light Sweet Crude Delivered in October. Brent crude rose 3 cents, or 0.08 percent, to $ 37.33 a barrel. Delivered in November. It was down 23 cents, or 0.6 percent, to $ 39.83 a barrel.

While the price of gold in the Comex market for December delivery fell 16.4 dollars, or 0.83 percent, to 1,947.9 dollars an ounce.
