At 5:00 pm on January 21, the Samut Sakhon Provincial Public Health Office reported on the situation of the 2019 coronavirus outbreak (COVID 19) in Samut Sakhon province that there were 261 new cases.

Currently, 148 patients admitted to the hospital are classified as Thai citizens, 213 foreigners and 1,528 those under observation are all foreigners.
