BMA Issues 14th Announcement to Control Spread of COVID Close 5 Additional Risk Places, Including Intensive Massage Rooms

At 8:45 pm on December 28, 2020, Police General Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, issued an announcement to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration regarding the temporary closure of the facilities (No. 14) to prevent the spread of the COVID. -19

In order to close the places with risk of disease, including: 1. Horse field 2. Cockfighting field and cockfighting field 3. Bull field, fighting fish field or other playing fields of the same manner 4. A commercial massage parlor establishment and 5. Any service establishment or any establishment that provides services in a similar manner.

It also offers cinemas, theaters, theaters, places that sell food, liquor or other beverages, providing music or other performances for entertainment. Strictly follow preventive and control measures to stop the spread of disease.

If there are offenders, they should beware of imprisonment for a period of not more than one year or a fine of not more than 100,000 baht or both and may be guilty of a crime under Section 18 of the Emergency Decree on Public Administration in Situations of Emergency, BE 2005 will be punished with a prison sentence for a period not exceeding 2 years or a fine not exceeding 40,000 baht or both. And if it is violated, the location will be temporarily closed.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration urges everyone to wear a surgical or cloth mask when leaving their residences.

This announcement is effective from December 29, 2020 through January 4, 2021 or until further notice.
