Today at 4:00 p.m. (November 14, 2020) Typhoon “Wa Mok” (a Category 5 storm) in the center of the South China Sea has a center about 170 km east of Da Nang city. Vietnam O at latitude 16.0 degrees north, longitude 109.8 degrees east, the highest wind speed near the center is about 160 kilometers per hour. It is moving west at a speed of about 20 kilometers per hour.
It is expected to land in Vietnam around November 15, 2020, after which it will weaken and become a tropical storm.
