Announcement of “Meteorological Department” No. 1 Severe tropical storm “Wa M Kau” (Storm level 4) in the South Central China Sea. It is expected to intensify and approach the coast of Vietnam around 15 November 20.

At 10:00 am today (October 12, 2020), a severe tropical storm “Wa M Kau” (Category 4 storm) in the center of the South China Sea. It is centered at latitude 15.2 degrees north, longitude 119.5 degrees east, the maximum wind speed near the center is about 100 kilometers per hour. It is moving west at a speed of about 20 kilometers per hour. It is expected to intensify and approach the Vietnamese coast around November 15, 2020, after which it will weaken accordingly.
