Stock Market Conditions and Indices, Oil, Gold and Foreign Money Markets as of September 15, 2020

– The New York Dow Jones Stock Exchange closed overnight (September 15) as investors watched the outcome of the Federal Reserve (Fed) meeting, to be announced on Wednesday. On Thursday morning, the S & P500 and the Nasdaq closed in positive territory, driven by a continued rise in technology stocks.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 27,995.60, 2.27 or + 0.01%, while the S & P500 closed at 3,401.20, 17.66 or + 0.52%, while the Nasdaq closed at 11.190.32, 133.67 or + 1.21%.

– European stock markets closed higher tonight (September 15), driven by China, which released strong industrial production data. Strengthens European mining, retail and luxury stocks.

The Stoxx Europe 600 Index gained 0.66% to close at 370.96 points.

The French CAC-40 stock market closed at 5,067.93 points, an increase of 16.05 points or + 0.32%, the German DAX stock market closed at 13,217.67 points, rose 24.01 points or + 0.18 %, and the FTSE 100, the London Stock Exchange closed at 6,105.54 points, rose 79.29 or + 1.32%
