Tesla Motors, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSLA) – Te Pterano’s ‘Never Charge’ 1,000-mile EV seems to feature Tesla supercharger compatibility: report


There has been speculation that Te Ptera Motors, which last week began taking reservations for its solar-charging-capable three-wheeled electric vehicle, could use it. Tesla Inc. (Nasdaq: TSLA) Supercharger Infrastructure.

what happened: Te Ptera released a YouTube video showing off their 1,000-mile capable EV, where InsideEv noted what a Tesla inlet is likely to be plugged in with a Tesla connector.

The connector does not carry the usual Tesla markings, but is instead green and has the Ap Ptera logo on it. It appears around the 2:55 mark in the video.

Why it’s important: A deal that allows the supercharger network to share has never struck, InsideEvis noted.

The company, led by Elon Musk, protects its charging technology of G and asked ChargePoint Home to remove electric vehicle supply devices from CES 2017 to CES 2017, despite the picture Tweeted Which shows that it fits the Tesla connector.

Grace Tao, vice president of Tesla China, also said last week that the EV maker is ready to give its charging stations to competitors in the future.

As of November, Tesla has installed 20,000 superchargers, which the automaker describes as “the fastest charging network in the world.” Recently, the Palo Alto-based automaker installed its 500th supercharger in Shanghai, China.

Price action: Tesla shares rose nearly 1% on Friday to close at 9599.04.
