This is actually the 65-inch version of the TCL 8 Series, but in almost every respect it is identical to the 75-inch one.

The TCL 8 Series 75Q825 debuted late last year with shining praise, not only from CNET’s David Katzmaier, but also from critics around the world. Ironically, TCL has long been known as a budget brand, but there was nothing low on this model, especially the $ 2,600 price tag.
Just a few days ago, the 75Q825 was back on sale for $ 1,800, closing its all-time low. Today, however, and while supplies last, you can get the TCL 8 Series TV Roku 4K 75-inch for $ 1,500, a new low by a fairly considerable margin. It’s still expensive compared to other 75-inch TVs, but it’s also one of the best TVs you can buy, period.
That’s according to Katzmaier, whose TCL 8 series review you will want to read immediately. One fact: “Series 8 is a beast. Deep black levels and brilliant reflections, created by The first TCL Mini LED technology in the industry, offers the kind of contrast that makes each image stand out, especially HDR. In my side-by-side comparisons, it came close to the standards set by [an] OLED TV than any other I’ve tried this year. “
Not surprisingly, then, that the 75Q825 is on CNET’s list of the best TVs of 2020. Meanwhile, it earned an average 4.6-star rating from more than 60 Best Buy customers.
And if you’re splurging on that, you could splurge on an audio system, too. For a limited time, and while supplies last, Amazon has the Sonos Playbase for $ 529.98. That is a historic low too; typically sells for $ 699. This is a “home run” product, according to Ty Pendlebury in his Sonos Playbase review.
So yes, this is a dream setup. Big screen, great sound and the biggest discounts on both. And since I’m a huge television junkie, I’m bound to share some viewing recommendations:
