Another week has flown by, bringing it a fantastic showcase of Indie World, some suspicious Zelda ads, and a big multiplayer game sale on Switch, but now it’s finally time to sit back and discuss our plans for the weekend.
Nintendo Life members have done just that, and we’d love to hear from you through our interview and comment sections. Enjoy!

I’m just finished watching the new Netflix documentary series High score (it’s worth a look, I might add) and it got me in the mood for some retro gaming. So this weekend I decided to experience the glory days with games like the original Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros., Excitebike, Sonic the stingray, Star Fox en DOOM. Of course I will play them all on my Nintendo Switch.
In terms of modern offerings I would probably go through with it A short walk (again) – you know, one of the many shady games dropped during the Indie World presentation earlier this week. It’s a very charming game that is worth putting up with for a few hours if you haven’t already. Game on!

This weekend I will continue with my playthrough of Paper Mario: The Origami King, which I have enjoyed quite a bit so far. I recently reached the desert area and just experienced what I would painfully refer to as ‘but why, Bobby? Why would you do this to me? ‘moment. If you picked it up at this point in the game as well, you’ll know exactly what I mean (and I’m sorry you brought it up again).
The battle system has been pretty heavily criticized by fans of the series, but as someone who has not played a Paper Mario game in about 15 years, I do not compare it to previous entries and I actually like it quite a bit. Boss field battles are particularly spectacular, and I look forward to fighting through more of them.

Hi. In the last week, Indie Direct saw an absolute ton of really good stuff announced and stealth drop on the eShop, so I’m currently going through a few of those to check out, while I try out the last few pieces and pieces you ‘ t I missed on my playthrough of Peaky Blinders: Mastermind, which I really enjoyed.
Elsewhere I sit in it Risk of rain 2 after I was recommended by several friends and tried to complete my first full season in the absolutely sublime Super Mega Baseball 3. Honestly, even if you’re not a real fan of the game in real life, it’s one of the hottest sports games on Switch, a perfect balance of arcade and sim that I just can not stop playing. Have a great weekend whatever you do or play!
