Although many of us will never set foot on the red planet, a new compilation captured by Mars rovers walks through the rocky and sandy terrain in stunning detail. Throughout the 4K footage video, explorers explore the open plains and caramel-colored stretches of the Martian landscape. As the narrator points out, it is currently impossible to obtain actual images of Mars, as even the most technologically advanced rovers like Curiosity are still limited to extremely slow data transmission rates back to Earth.
