Andreas Hauri is concerned about the latest developments in the crown situation. “We are in a critical situation,” says the health director of the city of Zurich. On the one hand, the Covid 19 infection figures show a slight upward trend to a high level, so it has not been possible to significantly reduce the number of infections in recent weeks.

And this, in turn, exacerbates the situation in the city hospital and in homes for the elderly and the elderly. “We had to postpone again the first elective interventions in the city hospital,” says GLP politician. More and more employees would also have to be quarantined or isolated. “The situation is still manageable, but we have to act now, otherwise the city’s health institutions will soon be overloaded.”
