A 42-year-old man stole money from someone else’s envelopes for a long time at the Zurich airport. The employee of a third company who was supposed to check mail at the airport on behalf of the Swiss Post was caught and charged with theft and violation of postal and telecommunications secrecy, writes the “NZZ”.

The father’s job was actually to X-ray the mail bags of letters and packages and open them if there was any suspicion of substances that could pose a fire hazard.
