Guinness World Records in London confirmed the record book entry on Monday, said Confiserie Speck, who had attempted the record. The traditional company Zug started the campaign on its 125th anniversary.

According to the announcement, more than 18 kilograms of butter, 23 kilograms of flour, more than 900 eggs and almost 100 liters of cherry liqueur were used to make the cake. Ten pastry chefs worked more than 55 hours in three days on the cake. This was then cut into 3300 pieces and distributed to passersby.
