It is one of the most sensational criminal cases in Norway’s recent history: Anne-Elisabeth Falkevik Hagen disappeared without a trace on October 31, 2018 from a family property in Lørenskog, near Oslo. Since then, no trace of the 68-year-old has been missing.
Finally, in April of this year, an apparently dramatic turning point: the police arrested the missing husband, Tom Hagen (70), and a possible accomplice. The approximately 30-year-old man was accused of killing the woman or being involved in the murder.

Police have now released the second suspect from custody. The charges against the 30-year-old man have been partially dropped, he said in a message. However, he is still accused of complicity in a kidnapping. The man rejects the accusations.
