The World Health Organization (WHO) has sent a reassuring Christmas message to children: despite the corona pandemic, Santa Claus can travel around the world to distribute his gifts.
She understands the concerns about Santa Claus as he is “older,” WHO expert Maria Van Kerkhove, who is responsible for fighting the pandemic, said at a news conference in Geneva on Monday. But Santa Claus is “immune” to the new virus.
Entry requirements for relaxed Santa Claus
She and her WHO colleagues had spoken briefly with Santa Claus: he and his wife are doing “very well”, they are currently “very busy,” Van Kerkhove said.
He also reported that the WHO had learned from numerous governments that had relaxed their entry and quarantine rules especially for Santa Claus due to the pandemic.
This means that Santa Claus and his flying reindeer can travel in and out of the sky and “bring gifts to children,” said the WHO expert, who has two children. (SDA)
