In the fight against the crisis of the crown, vaccination is the great hope. But while there is great trust among the rulers of Europe, the population is increasingly skeptical about vaccines. In France, this was the highest in the world even before Corona.
Scientists around the world have developed vaccines against the new coronavirus in record time. Rulers from Boris Johnson to Angela Merkel to Vladimir Putin share the hope that the vaccine will be a decisive step in the fight against the virus. Consequently, the UK has approved a vaccine in a fast track process and the first “Sputnik V” vaccines have already been administered in Russia; and in Germany, Switzerland and other parts of Europe, vaccination campaigns will start no later than January. But are Europeans ready to keep up with the fast pace of politics and science?
