Last Sunday night, the Uster city police had to leave with a larger contingent. The reason for using it was an illegal party.
According to police, numerous guests had come to a self-check-in hotel in Uster to celebrate together. Including Jasmin T. * (18). “We make sure we don’t make too much noise. I tried not to be too flashy. The DJ would always turn the music down when the hotel room door was opened, ”the 18-year-old tells BLICK.
“We were very quiet”
But it is useless. The party breaks out. The police receive an alert shortly after 10 pm and are in front of the hotel a little later. “When we saw the police car, the lights and music quickly turned off. We were all very quiet. At the time we still thought that the police would not come to our room. But then the door opened and two officers entered. “
The personal data of about 25 party-goers are recorded. “Nobody knows who will receive a fine and how much it will be,” said the young man.
Named via Instagram and Whatsapp
According to the police, the guests are said to have traveled “from all over north-eastern Switzerland.” The teens and young adults had agreed to meet on Instagram and WhatsApp for the occasion.
After more police were called to the scene, several personal checks were conducted at the hotel because the situation at the scene “violated applicable federal and cantonal Covid-19 regulations,” the police wrote in their message. The party finally broke up. More research is currently underway.
The hotel where the party took place does not want to comment on the evening at BLICK’s request. (cat / jmh)
