Only in jeans and a T-shirt and without shoes, the boy was a suspect somewhere in the interior of the country north of Nashville (USA).

But then, after more than 48 hours and two nights in the cold of November, it came to an unexpected happy ending: Search parties found little Jordan on the bank of a small stream under a home-made shelter. The TBI immediately announced the good news on Twitter: “Freezing and hungry, but otherwise in a good mood. Nice to see you, Jordan. “
Father bursts into tears at press conference
The nine-year-old boy was found about 1.2 kilometers from his home on Tuesday. In a subsequent press conference, the local sheriff said of the time the boy had to endure alone in the wild: “He probably would not have survived.” And regarding the fact that Jordan survived the Odyssey unscathed, he said: “That is certainly the exception and not the rule.”
It is still unclear why the autistic boy ran away from home so suddenly. It turns out that Jordan did not live with his biological parents, but with an adoptive family.
