There is no defense for the president’s comments tonight that undermine our democratic process. The United States is counting the votes and we must respect the results as we have always done before. No choice or person is more important than our Democracy. https://t.co/BOO2iaTsEf

“America counts the votes and we have to respect the results as we have always done. No choice or person is more important than our democracy, ”Hogan continued. In an interview with the PBS station, he accused Trump and his side of having prepared the ground for the current procedure – the questioning of the results – with warnings about voting by mail. Hogan is the president of the National Governors Association.
Congressman Adam Kinzinger asked that evidence be produced for the fraud charges and that they appear in court. “Stop spreading exposed misinformation … This is slowly freaking out”wrote on Twitter.
We want all votes to be counted, yes, all legal votes (of course). But, if you have legitimate concerns about fraud, present EVIDENCE and take it to court. STOP spreading discredited misinformation … This is freaking out.

Faced with an imminent defeat in the US elections, Trump presented himself as the victim of a fraud at a press conference at the White House. Without presenting evidence, he led a series of alleged manipulations of Tuesday’s vote and indicted the opposing side. Despite the ongoing count, he sees himself as the rightful winner of the multi-state elections. (sda / dpa)
