Union fans set the mood with fireworks in front of the stadium

Around 100 fans caused a sensation on the sidelines of the match between Unión and Bavaria. During the match cheers can be heard from outside the stadium. A fireworks show even gets underway shortly after the break.

FC Bayern Munich defend the league lead in the Bundesliga, but are no more than 1-1 at Union Berlin. Iron fans grab the headlines, celebrating the points win with real fireworks.

The record champions struggled to score 1: 1 at home with 1. FC Union Berlin after the break and stay tied with RB Leipzig (both 24) at the top of the table. Grischa Prömels’ lead goal (4th minute) for the capital club tied Bayern Torgarant Robert Lewandowski (67th) at the Alte Försterei stadium. With a home win against 1899 Hoffenheim, chaser Bayer Leverkusen (currently 22 points) can overtake both clubs to the top on Sunday (6pm).

With fireworks outside the stadium, some Union fans celebrated their club’s surprising 1-1 draw against FC Bayern. During the game, some flares were detonated in the Alte Försterei forest. “If the Bavarians take off their leather pants,” echoed in the sand, which was almost deserted due to the corona pandemic.
